Writer's Note

We are not what we think we are. A simple thought. A simple action.

Normally, if you would read a story from a book, you would read its summary on its hardcover first before venturing into the real thing. This story has no hardcover. So I thought of giving you a glimpse of our journey. So here goes...

There are over six billion people in the world. Over one billion are in India. You and I are just two of them. Are we insignificant? Can we make a difference?

A pebble dropped into a pond creates ripples changing the entire surface of the pond.

We might seem as insignificant as a pebble. Are we what we think we are? No. Can we make a contribution? Can we make a difference for the better? Yes. That one pebble is enough to make ripples. There is no need for sacrifice. There is only a need for contribution. A pebble is dropped into the pond. A small act of kindness, a small act of patriotism. A simple thought. A simple action.

Ignorance is not the solution. Sacrificing a life is not the need of the hour. A series of simple thoughts and actions from people like you and me is all what it takes.

This story is based on the idea of 'active patriotism'.

Abhinav continues his journey to discover his calling in life.

Pieces of a jigsaw puzzle are falling into place...

  1. Love what you have written here. I just saw that u have written well over 8 chapters which i have not read. for me the writers note says it all. and u should know I'm here to make a difference or shall i just say-bring in the difference, be it worldly or in me both being the same some would say. I have one question though when are u starting to talk about Humans as one rather than a nation?
